We have many volunteer positions available in the Upward Sports Program at Wylie's First Baptist Church. Please review the opportunities below, we would love to serve with you.
COMMISSIONERS - Help recruit leadership for a specific area of interest (K5 Coaches or Prayer Captians). Serve as a spokesperson for your area of responsibility and help answer any questions.
COACHES and REFEREES - If you would be interested in coaching a team/cheer squad or refereeing games please check out the Coaches links located in the left hand column of this screen.
PRAYER PARTNER - 100 Days of Prayer. Commit to pray for the Upward Ministry for 100 days. A list is provided of specific things to pray for during the course of the Upward season.
CONCESSIONS - (Fall League ONLY) We operate a concession stand out of our fellowship hall kitchen each game day. This is a great opportunity to meet the many participants and their families who are playing in the league. Great opportunity for a Sunday School Class to serve as a group.
EVALUATION NIGHT VOLUNTEER - Each player in Upward goes through an evaluation which helps in the creating of equal teams. We need volunteers to work as greeters, scorekeepers, registration takers, etc. We have a place for you if you would be available a couple of hours
during our evaluation times.
TEAM PARENT - Coordinates after game snacks, post season team party. Helps coach with contacting other team members about schedule changes, etc..
